Cavom Complete Senior is a complete food for the older dog. Cavom Complete Senior has a lower protein content, moreover the proteins have been adjusted. The grains, including corn, wheat and rice, are almost completely decomposed.
Cavom Complete Senior contains beef tallow and various oils, as well as animal proteins from beef and lamb and high-quality vegetable proteins. All this is done to achieve a good balance in the diet and the feed is also enriched with glucosamine for older dogs.
What does glucosamine do?
Glucosamine is a natural amino sugar and stimulates the recovery of joint cartilage. Cartilage sits between the joints and ensures smooth and painless movement, a good condition of cartilage is therefore important. Glucosamine acts as a lubricant and is normally produced by the body itself. As the dog ages, the production of glucosamine by the body often decreases, making the joints less supple. By adding glucosamine to Cavom Complete Senior we stimulate the production and build-up of glucosamine, resulting in a healthier cartilage.
Cavom Complete Senior is formulated in such a way that your dog will remain vital and in good condition even at an older age.
